On Friday, April 13 there will be an Open Gallery/Featured Artist Event at Get Knifed Gallery. The featured artist will be Tara Hansen Alexander (you can see her work at www.tarahansenalexander.com).
Get Knifed Gallery is run by painter/illustrator Max Bare (my brother), photographer Nate Bettinger, and “other” Chris Cowgill. They always participate in the Chicago Arts District’s Second Fridays in Pilsen, so you can visit every month! And when you do, look forward to Pabst Blue Ribbon as a tasty complimentary beverage.

I was going to tell you to go see some fine photography hanging up at the 33 Collective Gallery in Bridgeport, but it seems that the show is already over and done with.
