Zoë Bare is a photographer and printmaker based in Chicago. Originally from Ohio, her travels have taken her from the Midwest to Estonia, Poland, Ukraine, Moldova, Italy, China, and as much of the U.S. as she can traverse by car.  As a photographer, she seeks to capture the tiny moments that happen when one is in new surroundings and the awkwardness in being a tourist. As a printmaker, she whimsically documents nature asserting itself and memorializes dead childhood pets.

She currently works as Director of Photography for the Chicago fine art auction house Freeman's | Hindman.
